Project Description

Wooster and Associates was contracted by the Creative Real Estate Development Company to prepare preliminary and final PS&E design of the upgrade of multiple local and state intersections, traffic signals, and a roundabout.

Project Scope

Tasks included oversight of all project staff and deliverables, project coordination and design review for the upgrade and replacement of three key intersections.

This included completion of the signing and pavement marking plans, drainage plans, right-of-way plans, the redesign of the Little Creek Road (SR 3025) corridor, design of a single lane roundabout, as well as the design review of the traffic control plans.

Prior to this, Wooster and Associates was tasked with completing a comprehensive Transportation Impact Study for approval by the township and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The development location is in the vicinity of Perry Highway (SR 0019), Little Creek Road (SR 3025), and Mercer Road (T-335) in Jackson Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania. The study was approved in 2016.

The large mixed-use development, when fully complete, is to consist of residential town homes, senior housing, a trade school, specialty retail and supermarkets, drive-in banks, fast-food restaurants, and a service station with a convenience market.
